Can we use our own vendors?
Cedar Lawn does not require you to choose from an exclusive list of caterers, bar service, or rental companies. This is a huge perk. However, working with a team of vendors that works together frequently and knows the venue well will help in a smooth and stress-free event. We do have a list of tried and true that we would be happy to share with you.
Do you have accomodations to stay overnight?
Cedar Lawn has an incredible historic home on the property that is available to rent during your time here.
4 bedrooms (ability to comfortably sleep 8)
3 bathrooms (1 suite is on the main floor, bed and bath)
Fully stocked kitchen
Washer/Dryer/Ironing
Wi-fi
Outdoor grill and patio

Clean up?
Cleaning is included in the price of the venue rental. The last thing we want you or your party to worry about is that task!
Refund policy?
We have a non-refundable deposit which secures your initial date. Should something change, we would be more than happy to credit your deposit to another available date.
Deposit?
First come first serve is the best way we can explain "saved" dates. If you don’t have your heart set on a certain date, ask us about "open" dates we have in any certain month that are offered at reduced rates. Check on the "Packages" tab, in order to understand more about deposits. All deposits are non refundable.
Capacity?
Knowing how many guests you can and will invite to your wedding will inform so many other decisions, like how many invitations to order. The rule of thumb is 50% actually attend the event all at the same time, so this directly affects your overall budget. We can comfortable accomodate 150 guests throughout the entire venue area. That does not include patio space or if you choose to have a tent on the property.
Is alcohol allowed?
You may hire a bartender of your choice. Please note if alcohol is served, security must be provided! Alcohol may only be served and not sold.
Do you have an inside and outside area available?
Yes we do! The capacity of Cedar Lawn Farm varies depending on the type of event and the setup. However, it can accommodate up to 150 guests with various set-ups. The main area can host the wedding or reception, stage area is great for head tables - gift tables - cake tables or photo booths, the bar and social area allows your guests to relax and get together while a change over in the seating is being done; and the patio is there with seating and 1000 sq ft to even dance on!
Is damage deposit required?
A $1000 refundable deposit charged to a credit card is required for incidentals. Assuming no damage has occurred, we will promptly refund the monies within 14 days of your event.
