Our story is not much different than yours...

The vision of the farm, "Cedar Lawn", was built on hard work and passion, and the building block of what is now known as "Cedar Lawn Farm Events". The home was bought out of a Sears Catalog and transported by rail car. There, trucks brought boxes with everything from the screws and nails to the kitchen sink. The farm soon followed as a family needed to support itself. Here upon lays the building block of our business.

 

 

The barn began renovation in September of 2022 with a small crew who put sweat equity and heart into the restoration. Every plank was taken down and replaced with one from the same. The rock was quarried locally and most all furniture and decor  was sourced  from local vendors.  Fifteen short months later and we saw light at the end of the tunnel. Our efforts come together to be able to "reserve" our first booking into 2024.

 

The barn is finished with original planks adorned by a vaulted ceiling. Wrought iron chandeliers and natural limestone adorn the double barn doors that open to the social area. Ceremonies can be held in or outside. Our pasture area features a rock patio and walkway that is nothing short of an impressive entrance for any event.
